Description
This is a vintage tabletop vacuum tube radio branded Lexington. The unit features an Art Deco-style wood cabinet with a dark stained finish, characterized by stepped shoulders and horizontal wooden louver slats over the speaker grille. A horizontal slide-rule tuning dial is positioned behind a glass panel, displaying frequency markings for the AM band from 55 to 170 (representing 550 to 1700 kHz). Two dark brown Bakelite-style knobs are located on the lower front for power, volume, and tuning. The open rear of the cabinet exposes the internal chassis and a large, horizontally-mounted oval loop antenna. The antenna board is stamped with numbers 374011 and 6310. The cabinet design and chassis layout are visually consistent with the 1946 RCA Victor Model 61-5 and related Espey models. Height: 8.25 inches Width: 12.25 inches Depth: 6.75 inches.
