Description
A mid-century RCA Victor Model 56X tabletop vacuum tube radio. The unit features a dark brown Bakelite cabinet designed with Streamline Moderne influences, including three horizontal speed lines molded into the sides and a broad, louvered front speaker grille. The front panel includes three brown control knobs and a horizontal slide-rule dial protected by a clear cover. The frequency scale displays the standard AM broadcast band with markings from 55 to 160. Centered above the dial is a gold-tone logo strip featuring the circular RCA emblem, stylized RCA Victor script, and the Nipper dog emblem.
