Description
This three-panel triptych wall mirror is designed in the Venetian style and dates to the early to mid-20th century. The mirror features a molded frame with a metallic bronzed and gilded finish, including an arched top with a central shell cresting flanked by scrolled foliate and floral motifs. The individual mirror plates are separated by matching vertical dividers. Each plate is decorated with etched floral and foliate patterns and accented with applied metal floral rosettes. The reverse has a paper backing and is equipped with a wire for hanging. Faint handwritten characters reading PENN are visible on the upper wooden frame on the reverse.Height: 32.5 inchesWidth: 31 inches.
