Description
This wall mirror is designed in the French Louis Philippe style and features a rectangular frame with canted upper corners. The frame is constructed of wood with a molded gesso finish and gilt surfacing. It is surmounted by an ornate pierced cresting decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs. Complementary scrolling scrollwork is applied to the lower frame corners. The mirror plate contains an etched or cut-line border around the perimeter. The reverse features a brown paper backing and a wire for hanging.Width: 20 1/4 inchesHeight: 34 1/2 inches.
