Description
This item is a vintage commercial offset lithograph titled Not So Long Ago by artist Luke Doheny. The artwork depicts an Americana still life featuring an arrangement of antiques including a golden eagle sculpture, a hanging pocket watch, a manual wooden coffee grinder, a brass candlestick, and a gavel resting on a newspaper printed with the word AUCTION. An inset oval image of a horse in a stable is featured in the upper background. The artist’s name LUKE DOHENY is printed in the lower right corner. The work is housed under glass in an ornate, molded gesso and gilt wood frame decorated with scrolling foliate and oak leaf motifs. Framed dimensions: 22.5 inches wide by 27.5 inches high.
