Description
This rocking chair is designed in the Arts and Crafts or Mission style, attributed to Harden based on visual consensus. The frame is constructed from oak with a dark-stained finish. The chair features a high back containing eight vertical slats and wide, flat armrests with a slight downward curve at the terminals. The frame utilizes mortise and tenon joinery typical of the early 20th century. The seat is padded and upholstered in black material.
