Description
This lot features two distinct glass decanters of varying styles. The first is a heavy spirit decanter of square form, likely lead crystal, featuring deep-cut traditional patterns of crisscross and diamond motifs across the body panels with vertical wedge cuts at the corners. It is fitted with a large spherical stopper featuring multi-faceted diamond cuts that match the body aesthetic. The second piece is a flared teardrop-shaped decanter tapering to a slender neck and a wide out-turned rim, resting on a tapered pedestal base. This decanter is decorated with thin metallic bands, possibly platinum or silver luster, at the rim and shoulder, with a faint etched scrolling floral and vine motif visible just below the shoulder band. It includes a wide mushroom-shaped stopper with a smooth top and concentric ringed texture on the underside. No maker marks, labels, or signatures were identified on either vessel.
