Description
This square spirit decanter with a faceted globular stopper is manufactured by Bohemia Crystal in the Czech Republic. The item is crafted from hand-cut lead crystal with a minimum lead oxide content of 24 percent. The body features deep hand-cut mitre work, with each face displaying a prominent fan or sunburst motif above a field of diamond-point cross-hatched cutting. The base is finished with a multi-point star cut. The neck and shoulders are accented with vertical fluting. The heavy, spherical stopper is decorated with all-over diamond-shaped facets. A blue and gold oval foil label is affixed to the shoulder, featuring the Bohemia logo, a stylized B in a shield with three stars, and the text BOHEMIA CZECH REPUBLIC and HAND CUT LEAD CRYSTAL OVER 24% PbO.
