Description
A pair of heavy-bodied, hand-blown contemporary art glass perfume bottles utilizing a sommerso (submerged) technique. Each bottle features a multi-colored interior core encased in thick clear glass with decorative cold-worked surface cutting. The first bottle contains a deep cobalt blue core with a cranberry red base layer, featuring multiple horizontal wheel-cut grooves and two large polished circular facets on opposite sides. The second bottle contains a teal-blue core with a green casing layer, decorated with several large polished lens facets that create internal optical reflections. Both bottles are topped with matching disk-shaped stoppers featuring concentric glass circles and integrated glass daubers. The pieces have ground and polished flat bases with no visible signatures, etched marks, or manufacturer labels. Width: 3 inches Height: 6 1/4 inches.
