Description
This pair of hand-carved wooden clogs is designed in a traditional European folk style, commonly referred to as klompen. Each shoe is constructed from solid wood with a dark brown stain and a high-gloss varnished finish. The form features a distinctive pointed and slightly upturned toe with a rounded heel. The lateral exterior of each clog is hand-incised with a cursive inscription that reads Garry. The interior surfaces are hollowed out, displaying rough-hewn tool marks from the carving process. The exterior shows a visible wood grain under the finish. A tape measure included in the documentation indicates a total exterior length of approximately 11.5 inches.
