The central artwork features a portrait of the horse’s head in a blue halter, signed and dated in the plate Letitia ’73. Centered below the portrait is the printed text Secretariat 1973 KENTUCKY DERBY WINNER PREAKNESS BELMONT above three crown icons. The bottom margin includes the printed attribution from the Commissioned Collection of L. C. Gosney. The print is extensively signed by numerous individuals in various inks, including blue ballpoint, black felt-tip, and red ink. Legible signatures include Scotty Burnett, Phanor Perot, Red Bedwell, Mike Heavern, Ted Castle, Robert B. Cox (inscribed on the halter strap), and Dick Webber, among others.
