Description
This assortment of clear pressed glass is designed in the faceted Cube or Cubist pattern, characterized by three-dimensional geometric squares that create a distinct light-refracting effect. The collection consists of one large footed centerpiece bowl with four peg-style feet and a flared scalloped edge, a two-piece domed butter dish including a circular scalloped base and a lid with a faceted finial, one cylindrical vase with a flared rim, two small berry bowls, and one small bowl featuring a single applied handle. The interior bases of the bowls and the vase feature a pressed starburst motif radiating from the center. These pieces are attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company, produced in a style very similar to the American pattern by Fostoria.
