Lot 133:
Description
A set of eight clear pressed glass footed iced tea tumblers in the Cube pattern, also commonly referred to as the Cubist pattern. These pieces are attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company based on the presence of a small embossed letter J visible in the center of the circular foot on several pieces. The glasses feature a flared rim and a tapering body decorated with a dense, three-dimensional geometric cube design. The body sits upon a short stem integrated into a flat, circular base. This pattern was a popular design during the Depression era and bears a strong resemblance to the American pattern produced by Fostoria.Height: Approximately 6 1/8 inchesDiameter: Approximately 4 inches.
