Description
A hand-blown art glass vase produced by Blue Lagoon Glassworks in British Columbia, Canada. The vessel features a tall, slender body that flares into a multi-lobed ruffled rim. The upper two-thirds of the piece are decorated with internal vertical streaks of brilliant yellow and orange glass. The lower third consists of an opaque mint green base characterized by petal-shaped inclusions in shades of orange and brown. A clear glass wrap is applied around the midsection of the vase, terminating in a flattened, circular glass seal. The piece retains its original gold foil label with blue text which reads FAIT MAIN VERRERIE BLUE LAGON BC Soufflé Bouche. Height: 10 1/2 inches Width: 4 3/4 inches.
