Description
This lot features two non-electric liquid-fuel kerosene lamps constructed from clear glass and metal. The first lamp features a wide, rounded glass font and is fitted with a metal burner assembly. The thumbwheel on this burner is embossed with the text MARKLAID LTD. It is topped with a clear glass chimney characterized by a traditional bulging neck. The second lamp possesses a multi-tiered glass font and a metal burner that retains a cotton flat wick. This lamp includes a double-bulge style glass chimney. Both lamps feature metal galleries with integrated tines to secure the chimneys. The metal components on both units exhibit a dark brown surface oxidation.
