Description
This is a framed offset lithograph print created in a folk art style. The artwork features an illustration of a group of children playing in a field in front of a white gabled house, surrounded by stylized trees. A printed signature in the lower right corner of the image reads Debbie Kingston. Centered at the bottom of the white border is a printed citation reading Philippians 4:8. The text of the biblical verse is printed around the perimeter of the central image: …whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. Small decorative printed motifs, including butterflies and pairs of shoes, appear in the corners. The piece is housed under glass within a dark wood frame featuring a multi-tiered profile. It is professionally double-matted with a dark forest green outer mat and a pale pink inner mat. Based on the tape measure shown in the photographs, the frame measures approximately 21 1/2 inches wide by 14 3/4 inches high.Frame: 21 1/2 inches x 14 3/4 inches.
