Description
** A whimsical watercolor painting on paper by Nancy Sullivan. The scene depicts two teddy bears and two dolls sitting in a circle on a round wooden surface, perhaps a rug or tabletop, with several books. One teddy bear wears a sailor outfit and a small blue hat, while the other is dressed in a red and white polka dot blouse, a red skirt, and a white sun hat adorned with a red rose. A doll in a green dress and white bonnet sits between the bears, and another smaller doll with yellow hair and a blue dress is seen in profile on the left. A large open blue book lies in the center of the group, and a stack of colorful books rests next to the sailor bear. The artwork is signed “…NANCY SULLIVAN…” in black ink in the lower right corner.
