Description
A battery-operated quartz wall clock featuring a circular green plastic frame and a clear protective lens. The dial is decorated with a background image of green foliage and depicts twelve different species of North American birds at the hour positions, each with its name printed below. The species included are the Bald Eagle at 12 o clock, American Robin at 1, American Goldfinch at 2, Pileated Woodpecker at 3, Black-capped Chickadee at 4, Blue Jay at 5, Common Loon at 6, Baltimore Oriole at 7, Purple Martin at 8, Eastern Screech-Owl at 9, Northern Cardinal at 10, and White-breasted Nuthatch at 11. The clock has black spade-style hour and minute hands and a black needle second hand. A small light sensor is visible on the dial just below the 12 o clock position. The reverse features a black plastic housing with a speaker, a red synchronization button, and two separate battery compartments. The central quartz movement is embossed with the characters Sang Tai, 6168, MADE IN CHINA, QUARTZ, and 1.5V AA. The lower portion of the black back case is embossed with the words MADE IN CHINA.The clock has a diameter of approximately 13.5 inches.
