Description
This medical instrument is a wall-mounted transformer unit manufactured by Welch Allyn. The device features a beige composite plastic housing consisting of two vertical rectangular modules joined at the center. The left module is equipped with a large black rotary rheostat knob for adjusting light intensity, while the right module contains a green illuminated rocker power switch with a red O indicator. Two chrome-plated metal handles with knurled grips are docked in black plastic cradles on either side of the unit. These handles are connected to the transformer by black rubberized coiled power cords. A main power cable exits from the bottom of the housing. A black label with silver lettering on the front panel reads WELCH ALLYN. Based on the provided ruler measurements, the main housing is approximately 8 inches in height.
