Description
A Welch Allyn diagnostic set featuring a tabletop charging base, two rechargeable handles, an otoscope, a pediatric ophthalmoscope, and a wall-mounted specula dispenser. The system is constructed primarily of cream-colored and black plastic with knurled metal handles designed for professional clinical use. The base unit is labeled Diagnostic Center on a black strip at the front left and WELCH ALLYN on the central metal faceplate near the red indicator light. The two 3.5V rechargeable power handles feature textured grips and bases printed with WELCH ALLYN, USA / REF 71670 3.5V / USE 711 SERIES CHARGER along with CE and medical safety icons. The otoscope head is identified by a black adhesive label reading Welch Allyn / 4341 State Street Rd. / Skaneateles Falls, NY USA / JNW / REF 23810 / PATENTS PENDING and bears ETL listed, CE, and medical safety icons. The set includes a novelty pediatric ophthalmoscope head from the Safari series, molded in the form of a brown and tan monkey face with the Welch Allyn name visible through the viewing lens. Accompanying the set is a clear plastic four-column specula dispenser with a black top and white triangular labels at the bottom of each column reading 2.5 and 4.0.
