Description
This lot features a framed limited edition offset lithograph by artist C. Don Ensor, titled Magnolia. The botanical study depicts a single creamy-white magnolia blossom surrounded by waxy dark green leaves with naturalistic brown spots. The print is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right corner, adjacent to a printed signature in gold-tone characters. The lower left corner is hand-numbered 112/500 in pencil and features a circular embossed blindstamp. The artwork is housed in a square, ornate gold-finished frame with a wide, mottled inner border and a triple-layered matting system in white, cream, and olive green. A partial label on the reverse identifies the publisher as Donart Incorporated of Louisville, Kentucky. Frame: 25.5 x 25.5 inches.
