Description
This cast iron still bank is attributed to the A.C. Williams Co. of Ravenna, Ohio, based on the documented Two-Face Boy design produced by the company in the early 20th century. The bank is cast in the form of a dual-sided bust depicting a smiling Black male figure wearing a wide-brimmed hat. It is constructed of two vertical cast iron halves joined together. The figure features black-painted skin, a gold-tone painted hat and collar, and red-painted accents on the lips and teeth. A coin slot is located on the flat top of the hat. A small circular aperture is present at the center of the base. No maker marks are visible on the exterior or base of the piece. Height: 2 7/8 inches Width: 2 1/4 inches Depth: 2 1/4 inches.
