Description
This is a limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a watercolor painting by American artist Paul Sawyier (1865–1917), titled Old Elk’s Club. The scene depicts a nostalgic early 20th-century street with horse-drawn carriages and a prominent building featuring a classical pillared porch. A facsimile signature of the artist is located in the lower left of the image. The lower left margin includes the printed text Copyright 1977 By Paul Sawyier Galleries, Inc. The print is hand-numbered in the lower right margin as 1037 of 2500. The work is presented in a cream-colored mat and housed within a gilt-finished molded wooden frame. The reverse of the frame features a label from the custom framer, The Finishing Touch, located in Shelbyville, Kentucky.Overall framed dimensions: 24.5 inches wide by 21 inches high.
