Description
This pair of matching low-profile candlesticks is crafted from green uranium glass, a material characterized by its translucent light green color and fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The design is attributed to the Diamond Glass Company, appearing to be pattern number 625 from the Art Deco era, circa 1930s. Each piece features a molded hexagonal candle socket and integrated drip pan situated over a short, ringed stem. The wide, circular bases are embellished with a cold-painted gold-tone band featuring three concentric black lines. Additional gilt accents are present on the upper rims of the hexagonal sockets and drip pans. The items were produced through a pressed glass process, and the undersides of the bases are smooth and slightly concave without any visible maker marks or inscriptions.Height: 2 1/4 inches Base Diameter: 4 1/2 inches.
