Description
This is a vintage portable radiant kerosene heater produced by Kero-Sun, model Radiant 36. Manufactured in Japan circa 1982, the unit features a two-tone metal cabinet in cream and dark brown. The front-facing heating element is housed within a polished chrome-finish internal reflector and protected by a horizontal wire safety guard. The front control panel includes a black rotary flame regulator knob with bilingual markings in English (HIGH, OFF) and French (HAUT, FERME), alongside a spring-loaded ignition lever marked IGNITE and ALLUMER. A wide integrated drip tray forms the base of the unit. The rear housing includes a battery compartment for two D-size batteries used for the electronic ignition system, as well as several instruction and safety decals in English and French.
