Description
A vintage Philco tabletop radio and record player combination unit, likely dating from the mid-to-late 1940s. The unit features a wood cabinet with a mahogany-finish veneer and a distinctive horizontal louvered grille design across the speaker section. The top lid lifts to reveal an integrated automatic record changer with a selector switch for automatic or manual operation and a power/reject toggle. The radio section features a vertical slide rule dial for the AM band, marked from 55 to 160. Three control knobs on the front panel are labeled for Dial Tuning, Tone, and Phono-Off-Radio. The manufacturer name Philco appears on the upper right corner of the lid and is printed in red block letters on the turntable base plate.
