Description
A vintage RCA Victor Model 56X3 tabletop vacuum tube radio, likely produced in the mid-1940s. The unit features a rectangular wooden cabinet with a distinctive stepped, louvered front grille and slanted upper corners. The horizontal slide-rule frequency dial is calibrated for the AM broadcast band, with numerical markings from 55 to 160. The dial face includes the RCA Victor logo and Nipper trademark on the left and the words UNITED STATES on the right. Three control knobs are positioned on the lower dark-finished section of the front panel. The open rear displays the internal metal chassis and vacuum tube components, including one tube marked 12SK7.
