Description
This framed landscape print, after an original work by Kentucky artist Paul Sawyier (1865–1917), depicts a tranquil river scene with a rustic cabin nestled among trees on the bank. Executed in an impressionistic style with a palette of soft greens, blues, and earth tones, the piece features the printed signature Paul Sawyier in the lower right corner. The work is presented in a decorative gold-toned wooden frame featuring beaded and rope-twist molding. It is set under glass with a cream-colored double mat and a gilded inner fillet. The back of the frame is finished with a brown paper dust cover and a hanging wire.Overall framed dimensions: 19.5 x 14.5 inches.
