Description
This is a limited edition offset lithograph titled Perfect Water, based on an original watercolor by Kentucky artist Paul Sawyier (1865–1917). The print is number 1907 from a limited edition of 3,000. Part of The Mayme Bull Collection, the scene depicts Mary Mayme Bull resting in a canoe on a still river under overhanging foliage. The artist’s signature is present in the plate at the lower left. The work is printed with lightfast ink on 80lb Buckeye Limited Neutral PH White 100% cotton stock. A certificate of authenticity from the Frankfort Blue Print Company of Frankfort, Kentucky, is attached to the reverse, featuring a corporate seal and a signature from Brenda Howard. The piece is professionally housed in an ornate gilded wood frame with a double mat in grey and white. The reverse includes a label from Frames of Mind, a custom frame shop in Frankfort, Kentucky, and a Tru Vue glass cleaning instructions label.Frame: 22.5 x 9.5 inches.
