Description
A vintage signal bugle constructed with a copper body and brass fittings, including the bell rim, ferrules, and stays. The instrument follows a traditional military cavalry pattern with a compact, wrapped design. It features a removable silver-toned metal mouthpiece, likely silver or nickel-plated brass, which is attached to the lead pipe stay by a small safety chain. The interior of the bell reveals a copper finish and a visible longitudinal seam from the manufacturing process.
