Description
This cast iron wall-mounted decorative plaque features a central relief in the Neoclassical style. The central oval medallion contains a raised figure of a woman in flowing, classical attire walking while holding a tray of grapes and other fruit. The medallion is framed by a beaded border and is topped with an ornate ribbon and scrollwork crest. Two scrolled hooks are mounted to a horizontal bar at the base of the plaque. The item is manufactured using sand-cast relief. The reverse displays a metal hanging bracket and shows the screws used to secure the hook assembly. No maker marks, signatures, or dates are present.Height: 11.5 inchesWidth: 7.5 inches.
