Description
A vintage ergonomically shaped tractor or farm implement seat constructed from heavy cast metal, likely cast iron or pressed steel. The pan-style seat features five circular holes for drainage and mounting. It is equipped with a heavy-duty pivoting mounting bracket at the rear, a feature designed to flip the seat forward to protect it from weather conditions. Visual characteristics and the specific bracket design are consistent with the Easy Rider seats used on Massey Harris tractors and implements from the mid-20th century. Faded characters are visible on the upper-right interior surface, though they are too worn for definitive transcription.
