Description
This vintage agricultural implement seat features a contoured cast metal seat pan mounted to a heavy-gauge steel C-spring bracket. The design includes a hinge mechanism that allows the seat to flip forward, a feature characteristic of Ford 8N, 9N, and 2N series tractors from the mid-20th century. The seat pan is constructed with four circular drainage holes and is finished in weathered black paint over remnants of an older red finish. The cantilevered spring bracket is designed to provide suspension for the operator and includes multiple mounting holes at its base.
