Description
SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – This antique dresser features a traditional two-over-two drawer configuration, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The piece is constructed with mixed wood veneers, including walnut and bird’s-eye maple, applied over a hardwood secondary frame. The drawer sides and interiors exhibit a prominent grain characteristic of oak and are assembled using pinned joined construction. The upper portion consists of an arched swivel mirror held by two turned spindles with decorative finials. Ornamental details include applied carved wooden scrolls and a central fan-shaped shell motif above the large drawers, as well as line-inlay style markings on the mirror support rail. The hardware comprises two rounded knobs on the upper drawers and four ornate metal pendant ring pulls with decorative backplates on the lower drawers. The back of the case and the mirror are enclosed with stained panels. Stenciled in yellow on the back of the dresser is the mark NO. 200 DRESSER.
