Description
This antique electric desk fan was manufactured by The Emerson Electric Mfg. Co. of St. Louis and New York. The fan features four overlapping brass blades housed within a protective wire cage characterized by an S-shaped wire design. The construction utilizes a black-painted cast iron base and motor housing. A central brass badge on the cage is marked with the company name and logo alongside the slogan Built To Last. A brass identification plate on the top of the motor housing is stamped with technical data identifying the unit as Type 29646, Serial Number T44325, rated for 110 volts and 60 cycles alternating current. The base is equipped with a multi-speed control lever. Photographic documentation shows the blades in motion, indicating the motor is operational.Cage Diameter: 16 inchesHeight: 19.5 inches.
