Description
This antique kerosene oil lamp is a composite piece featuring components of glass, brass, ceramic, and wood. The burner assembly is made of brass and features a wick adjustment knob embossed with Sunlight, Made in U.S.A., and P. & A. MFG. CO., identifying the manufacturer as the Plume and Atwood Manufacturing Company. The lamp includes a clear glass chimney with a bulbous lower section. The fuel reservoir or font is constructed of clear pressed glass with a geometric diamond and floral pattern. The main pedestal is made of ceramic or composition material with a cream-colored crackle glaze finish. This section is decorated with hand-painted blue flowers and green leaves, topped with a textured brown feathered design. The entire assembly is mounted on a square, tiered wooden base with a dark-stained finish.Height: approximately 21 inchesWidth: font approximately 6 inches.
