Description
This miniature toy cook stove set was manufactured by the Grey Iron Casting Company of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, under the Crescent brand name. The stove is constructed from cast iron and features a decorative high back with a warming shelf, a removable vertical chimney pipe, and a side shelf with an openwork lattice design. The front of the unit features a functional oven door with a cast logo reading CRESCENT above a six-pointed star. The stove top includes four burner positions, one of which is fitted with a removable circular cover. The set is accompanied by an assortment of cast iron cookware, including two small pots with long handles and one small frying pan. The marking MADE IN U.S.A. is cast into the reverse of the decorative back piece.Height: 10 inchesWidth: 8.5 inchesDepth: 4.5 inches.
