SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – This late 19th-century American Victorian extension dining table is constructed from solid oak with a light golden finish. The top features a mixture of rift-sawn and quartersawn grain patterns, showing the characteristic medullary rays of the wood. The table is designed with a split top to accommodate expansion leaves and is supported by a five-leg base. This base includes four corner legs and a central fifth leg for structural support when the table is extended. Each leg is heavily carved, featuring a central barley-twist or spiral-turned section, acanthus leaf motifs on square lower plinths, and gadrooned bun feet. The apron is decorated with carved scrollwork and stylized foliate designs at the corner blocks. No maker’s marks or labels were identified on the piece.
