Description
A vintage American stoneware low jar produced by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery. The cylindrical vessel is crafted from stoneware with a slightly rolled rim. The exterior is decorated with a mottled rose-pink spongeware glaze applied over a cream-colored base, while the interior features a smooth cream glaze. The underside is marked with a blue printed backstamp identifying the maker and location as ROBINSON RANSBOTTOM, Roseville, Ohio, U.S.A. It is further labeled as a Low Jar with a 2 Qt. capacity. Diameter: Approximately 8 1/8 inches Height: Approximately 4 1/4 inches Capacity: 2 Quarts.
