Description
This mechanical toy cash register is manufactured by Aster and features a lithographed pressed steel body with a textured red finish. The front contains a black and white nameplate reading Aster CASH REGISTER along with patent numbers 465054 and 465315. The lower-left corner displays the OKP evergreen tree logo and the text MADE IN JAPAN. The register is operated via nine yellow plastic keys for various denominations and a black plastic lever embossed with PUSH. Key denominations include 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, 60 cents, and 1 dollar, plus a NO SALE button. Depressing the keys and push bar activates the numerical flags in the upper display window and releases the spring-loaded black plastic cash drawer, which contains two interior compartments.Height: 7 1/4 inchesWidth: 4 3/4 inchesDepth: 5 inches.
