Description
This lot comprises two pieces of vintage clear American pressed glass. The first item is a pedestal compote bowl in the Whirling Star pattern, featuring a deeply scalloped sawtooth rim and a body decorated with large stars, fan motifs, and diamond-point textured panels. The pedestal stem includes a patterned central knop and a flared scalloped circular foot. The second item is a footed cake stand with integrated tab handles. The flat circular top is divided into four quadrants by raised lines radiating from a central indentation, with each quadrant featuring a dense diamond-point texture. It sits on a square-profile pedestal stem that flares into a stepped, four-footed base with geometric patterning.
