Description
This Victorian-era art glass vase is hand-blown from transparent emerald green glass. The vessel features a wide, bulbous base that tapers into a tall, cylindrical body, finishing with a wide, ruffled and crimped rim. The glass contains numerous small air bubbles, or seeds, which are characteristic of hand-blown production from the late 19th century. The exterior is decorated with hand-applied enamel painting consisting of vertical sprays of small white flowers formed by raised dots, fine green stems, and stylized gold-tone leaf accents with a metallic sheen.
