Description
This 12-piece set of transparent electric blue art glass is characteristic of Victorian-era production, attributed to American glassmakers such as Fenton or Northwood. The set consists of a pitcher, a pedestal bottle, and ten tumblers, all featuring hand-painted enamel floral decorations. The pitcher is constructed with a bulbous lower body featuring a coin spot optic pattern, an applied blue glass handle, and a crimped, ruffled rim. It is decorated with white and pink floral sprays and dark-toned enamel bands at the neck and base. The pedestal bottle has an oval-shaped body with a footed base and is decorated with a yellow butterfly and white flowers. The ten tumblers feature diverse hand-painted floral motifs including daisies and wildflowers.
