Description
This Rossi Model 971 is a double action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, featuring a stainless steel construction. It is equipped with a 4 inch heavy barrel that includes a full length underlug and a six shot fluted cylinder. The revolver measures approximately 10 inches in overall length. The firearm is fitted with black checkered rubber grips that display the Rossi medallion in a gold tone. The sighting system consists of a micro-adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation and a pinned ramp front sight with a red polymer insert, mounted on a serrated top strap to reduce glare. Key markings include the model and caliber designation M971 .357 MAG on the left side of the barrel and AMADEO ROSSI S.A. on the right side. The left side of the frame bears a circular logo for Rossi surrounded by the text IND. BRAS. MARC. REG. and is further stamped MADE IN BRAZIL INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA. The serial number F270422 is clearly visible on the right side of the frame. This lot includes the original factory cardboard box and a handwritten identification tag.
