Description
This decorative table bell is constructed from cast brass and features a maritime-themed stand. The design is characteristic of the United States Navy Submarine Service insignia, featuring two stylized dolphins with detailed scales and upward-curving tails that meet to form an arched yoke. A central bell is suspended from a scrolled hanger between the figures. The bell is of a traditional flared shape and retains its interior clapper. The entire assembly is mounted on a heavy, stepped rectangular base with molded edges. The piece appears to be sand-cast and assembled from several components. No maker marks, signatures, or inscriptions were found during inspection. Height: 11.5 inches Width: 8 inches Depth: 4.75 inches.
