SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – A Victorian style slant-front writing desk, commonly referred to as a schoolmaster’s or clerk’s desk, constructed from dark-stained hardwood, possibly walnut or mahogany. The top features a three-part sloped writing surface with a central hinged lid and two fixed side panels, all bordered by a low gallery rail at the rear and sides. The lift-top reveals an interior storage well fitted with five vertical wood dividers forming six pigeonholes for organization. The lower case contains two side-by-side drawers featuring hand-cut dovetail joinery. The desk is supported by four baluster-turned legs joined by a low H-stretcher. Hardware includes two large, round black turned knobs on the drawers and three keyholes located on the central lid and each drawer.
