SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – An American Mission-style slant-front secretary desk, constructed from quartersawn white oak, showing the characteristic medullary ray grain patterns often called tiger oak. The desk features a hinged slant-front lid that opens to reveal an interior gallery fitted with six pigeonholes, two small utility drawers with wooden pulls, and a central open storage shelf. Below the writing surface is a single wide drawer with a curved face, featuring machine-cut dovetail joints and brass-toned metal bale pulls with a central matching escutcheon. The desk is mounted on a substantial trestle-style base with four thick, squared legs joined by side stretchers and terminating in block feet with decorative vertical grooving.
