Description
SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – This is a slender slant-front secretary desk, commonly referred to as a ladies desk, constructed from quarter-sawn oak with a dark stained finish. The desk features a high, shaped gallery backboard with decorative scroll-cut details. The fall-front writing surface opens to reveal a fitted interior comprising four pigeonhole compartments and a central small drawer with a simple round pull. Below the writing flap is a single full-width drawer accented by a scalloped lower apron. The piece is supported by four slender cabriole legs. The exterior drawer is fitted with two antiqued metal drop-style bail pulls on decorative backplates. Keyholes are present on the slant front and the main drawer. Faint markings including the characters NO are visible on the rear panel, and a partial, illegible paper label is attached to the underside of the interior compartments.Height: 51 1/2 inchesWidth: 31 1/2 inchesDepth: 16 inches.
