Description
This set of four pressed glass plates is crafted from transparent light green uranium glass, which exhibits a strong neon green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The design is attributed to the Federal Glass Company, featuring the Sunburst pattern characteristic of the Depression era. Each plate is decorated with a central multi-pointed starburst motif and a wide rim composed of vertical ribs or panels with rounded tops. These pieces are examples of American-made mass-produced tableware from the early 20th century. No maker marks or manufacturer stamps are visible on the surfaces.
