Description
This collection consists of three whiskey decanters from Austin Nichols and Company. The primary piece is a large decanter modeled as a wild turkey standing on a green base with molded grass details and the brand name in raised white letters. The turkey displays detailed plumage in a red, black, and brown color palette. The underside of the base features embossed text reading Austin Nichols Wild Turkey 101 Proof Liquor Bottle 185 Limited Edition Ceramic No. 6, along with a blue stamped lowercase b. Two miniature 50ml decanters accompany the larger piece. One depicts a standing turkey, and the other features a turkey with outspread wings in a displaying pose. Both miniatures are constructed of ceramic and retain original gold foil labels. The standing miniature label identifies the contents as Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 8 years old. The displaying miniature label specifies 101 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 8 years old, bottled by the Austin, Nichols Distilling Co., Lawrenceburg, KY. All decanters are equipped with their respective original head-shaped stoppers.
